1. World Series, Game 6: The Washington Nationals are playing at the Houston Astros tonight in Game 6 of the 2019 World Series. Fox Sports is broadcasting the game. First pitch is scheduled for 8:08 p.m. The Nats are currently trailing the Astros 3-2.
2. Council in Session: Montgomery County Council meets this morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Hearing Room in Rockville. The agenda includes a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to discuss the council’s efforts to enact legislation about racial equity and social justice.
3. Mum Tour: Since it’s Halloween season, you’re probably seeing a good amount of mummies, but have you seen enough mums? Kathy Stevens, Brookside Gardens Conservatory Manager, is leading a tour of Brookside’s blooming chrysanthemums in the North Conservatory. The tour costs $8 and people can register on Active Montgomery.
4. Tuesday Trivia Night: Denizens Brewing Co. in Silver Spring is hosting its weekly trivia event. Stop by at 8 p.m. for a chance to win free beer and food. Here’s more information.
