3. Seniors Pontoon Boat Cruise: Montgomery Parks is offering a cruise of Little Seneca Lake as part of Active Aging week, for adults ages 55 and up. Register and pay on activeMontgomery.org.
4. Oktoberfest Celebrations: We found seven celebrations around the county this month.
5. Reimagining Burtonsville: This community-led effort to revitalize the Burtonsville Crossing Shopping Center involves a two-day street-festival with food trucks, games for kids, fitness activities, beer/wine/spirits, live music, arts and crafts market, and dozens of local businesses and no-profits.
