2. Hucker Presser: Councilmember Tom Hucker is holding a press conference at noon to discuss a bill to require air conditioning in all rental units in Montgomery County. Here’s more information on the bill.

3. School Board Meets: Montgomery County Board of Education meets today.
4. Gun Violence Vigil, Rally: Rep. Jamie Raskin is hosting a vigil for gun violence victims and a rally for gun safety measures tonight at 7 p.m. at Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring. He’ll be joined by Sen. Chris Van Hollen and Attorney General Brian Frosh.
5. Dog Days Are Over: The Chevy Chase Village Board has made its decision on whether or not to maintain the controversial dog play area in Brookville Road Park.
