President Joe Biden has ordered the United States flag flown at half-staff following the May 6 shooting in Allen, Texas. The Maryland flag is lowered to half-staff as no flag may fly higher than the United States flag.
Saturday’s shooting that left at least eight dead and at least seven others injured. The shooting took place at a Dallas-area mall.
The flags will be raised back to full staff at sunset on Thursday, May 11.
