Wednesday marked the final on-air appearance for FOX5 meteorologist Sue Palka after almost 37 years at the station. Palka was feted with on-air well wishes, tribute videos and video messages of thanks from Maryland governor Larry Hogan, Washington, D.C. Mayor Bowser and many others.
Prior to her final appearance during the 10 O’Clock News, Palka, surrounded by family, friends, and current and former colleagues, was honored by station management with the The Sue Palka Weather Center.
