Montgomery County Police (MCP) arrested a Frederick resident Jan. 29, a month after killing a Germantown resident, according to a police department press release.
31-year-old Mario Samm was arrested for shooting and killing 25-year-old Jahandar Rahman Darvish inside his house on Dec. 23, the press release said. Police arrived after receiving a call about multiple gunshots in the 19300 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown.

The death was ruled a homicide after police came into Darvish’s house and found gunshot wounds on his body, Montgomery County Police said.
Samm is charged with first-degree murder and the use of a firearm during a violent crime. He is currently being held without bond at the Frederick County Detention Center.
