
For those looking for outdoor entertainment this summer, the “Bloom by Strathmore” free outdoor concert series at the Good Hope Recreation Center in Silver Spring may be just the thing.
The series begins July 23 and runs through Sept 10.
Attendees must RSVP and can bring food and seating per a tweet by Montgomery County Recreation. The series lineup consists of the following:

- July 23: Cecily – 70s Hits
- Aug 13: Uasuf Gueye
- Sept 10: AYO – Born to be Wild: A Night of Classic Rock
According to their website, Bloom by Strathmore is a collaboration between the county’s recreation department and Strathmore to give the community a chance to experience the arts. This is done by providing free and low-cost events throughout the county.
