Free Workshops Help Former Federal Employees Navigate Career Transitions

Two free virtual workshops will help former federal employees and other workers 50 and older transition to new careers. These sessions provide strategies for networking, job searching, and using current career tools.

The first workshop, “Focused and Steady: Coping and Career Tips for Uncertain Times,” runs Thursday, April 3, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Participants will build resilience, refine their professional pitch, and strengthen their online presence.

The second workshop, “Using AI and Other Tools to Reshape and Reinvigorate Your Transition from Federal to Private Sector,” takes place Wednesday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to noon. Attendees will learn how to translate federal experience into private-sector opportunities and launch consulting businesses.

Each workshop requires separate registration. Visit https://accessjca.org/transition-workshops for details and sign-up links. Zoom instructions will be sent upon registration.
