The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory, for northwest Montgomery County effective Friday at 11:00 p.m. until Saturday at 7:00 a.m.
Total snow accumulations are 3 to 5 inches, with localized totals of up to 5 inches possible, according to NWS.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. When venturing outside, watch your first few steps on steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury, warns NWS.
