Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Metro has implemented its services for essential travel only. WMATA officials announced on Thursday that 19 stations will be closed – up from 17 originally announced – to help protect the health and safety of Metro’s employees, and customers [see list below]. People are being urged to use adjacent stations as no shuttle buses will be provided. Metro also announced that parking lots at closed stations are not open for use. Cheverly – use Deanwood
Clarendon – use Court House
Cleveland Park – use Woodley Park or Van Ness
College Park – use Prince George’s Plaza
East Falls Church – use West Falls Church
Eisenhower Ave – use King St-Old Town
Federal Center SW – use L’Enfant Plaza or Capitol South
Federal Triangle – use Metro Center
Greensboro – use Spring Hill or Tysons Corner
Grosvenor-Strathmore – use Medical Center
Judiciary Sq – use Gallery Place-Chinatown
McLean – use Tysons Corner
Morgan Boulevard – use Addison Rd
Mt Vernon Sq – use Gallery Place-Chinatown
Smithsonian – use L’Enfant Plaza
Van Dorn St – use King St-Old Town
Virginia Square – use Ballston
In addition to that, several station entrances will also be closed to conserve cleaning supplies and create additional workforce flexibility. Officials say these particular stations will remain open for customers to enter and exit from other available entrances.

L’Enfant Plaza – 7th & D sts entrance closed; Maryland Ave & 9th & D sts entrances open
Metro Center – 12th & F sts entrance closed; 3 other entrances open
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport – North entrance closed (Terminal C); South station entrance (Terminal B) open
U Street – Memorial side U St & Vermont Ave closed; 13th & U sts entrance open
