Say goodbye to winter!
This spring season, Montgomery Parks is hosting several events for the community.
1. Cherry Blossom Fun Run/Walk
Montgomery Park’s Cherry Blossom Fun Run/Walk invites the community to experience the cherry blossom trees in full bloom at the South Germantown Recreational Park.
The one mile trail begins near King Barn Dairy Mooseum. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase and the Montgomery Parks craft station will have free tree seedlings for giveaway, according to the Montgomery Parks website.
This event is free and will run April 2 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

2. Spring Pop-Up and Seedling Giveaway
Montgomery Parks will host their Spring Pop-Up at Westfield Wheaton Mall April 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This event features park arborists ready to give advice on tree care and the first 200 visitors will receive a free tree seedling, according to the Montgomery Parks website. Crafts and information regarding full and part time jobs will be available.
