The 2022 Gaithersburg Book Festival returns for the first time in three years to a fully in-person event. The festival takes place Saturday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bohrer Park, 506 S. Frederick Avenue.
Mayor Jud Ashman founded the festival in 2010. Since then it has grown to attract award-winning and best-selling authors, poets and songwriters from across the country. The mission of the festival is “to foster an interest in reading, writing and literary conversation.”
The 2022 Gaithersburg Book Festival features more than 100 authors. Mayor Ashman highlights five in this short video.
