Gaithersburg Resident Wins $100,000 in Scratch-off Play

Talk about having a good day. A Gaithersburg resident won the lottery and became $100,000 richer last week.

The 49-year-old Gaithersburg resident, whose name was not identified by the Maryland lottery, purchased the $10 scratch-off ticket at a beer and wine store to win the top prize of $100,000. The person is described as a lottery devotee.

The B&B Beer & Wine store in Gaithersburg, located at 8403 Snouffer School Road, earns a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
