Red Door Escape Room opened its 14th location Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 125 Boardwalk Place in Gaithersburg’s Rio Lakefront Shopping Center.
“We’re just so excited to be a part of the Gaithersburg community,” sales manager Kelly Eveleigh told MyMCM.
The new escape room is the first of its kind in the Gaithersburg area and is the first Red Door Escape Room location to come to Maryland. The 13 other locations all reside in California, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.
In addition to new partnership avenues in the Maryland area, the Gaithersburg location is unique from all the other Red Door Escape Room locations said Eveleigh.
“We have our own in-house design team. So everything that you see, touch, feel, and smell is hand-crafted at our home office in Fort Worth, Texas. We’ve got a barrage of design team employees, from architects, engineers, painters, sculptors, and more,” said Eveleigh.
The new location offers six brand new “episodes” for customers to choose from, five of which are one-hour long and one half-hour long mini-episode.
