The second annual Taste of Rio in Gaithersburg will take place Sunday, Sept. 29 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The food festival with a lakefront view will feature selections from Rio restaurants with live music by Daisy Road and more on the boardwalk. There will be cocktail stations at the Fire Lounge, near True Food Kitchen and Uncle Julio’s, and the Boardwalk Stage area, near Guapo’s and Charley Prime Foods.
Some of the participating merchants are Guapo’s, True Food Kitchen, Silver Diner, Charley Prime Foods and Auntie Anne’s/Cinnabon.
