The Garden of Lights exhibit returns to Brookside Gardens on Friday, Nov. 17 and continues through Sunday, Dec. 31.
The exhibit, now in its 25th year, qualifies as a wintertime tradition in the County. The walk-through holiday light display features more than one million colorful LED lights shaped into hand-crafted, original art forms of flowers, animals and other manifestations of Mother Nature.
The Azalea Garden includes a new feature this year, a curtain of lights shimmering overhead and moves in time to music.
Hot drinks and light refreshments will be available for purchase. The Brookside Gardens Visitor Center will be open so visitors can access restrooms and visit the Gift Shop which sells unique seasonal items.
Garden of Lights is open every night through Sunday, Dec. 31 daily from 5:30-9 p.m., except Nov. 20-23 and Dec. 24-25.
The Garden Railway exhibit opens for viewing during the Conservatory’s daytime hours—not during Garden of Lights—from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Saturday, November 25–Sunday, January 1 (closed on December 24 and 25).
Tickets are $10 per person and must be purchased online at the Garden of Lights website. Everyone 5 years old and up must have a ticket. The event is held rain or shine. Tickets are nonrefundable.
