Doreen Gentzler said her goodbyes during NBC4’s 6 p.m. show after 33 years at NBC4. Gentzler is considered the last link to the golden era of local TV news.
There was an outpouring of love in the form of video tributes from current and former co-workers and cameos from former NBC4 entertainment reporter Arch Campbell and meteorologist Bob Ryan and, finally, a toast as the show went off the air..
