On Wednesday night about 10:15 p.m. police began the pursuit of a Nissan Maxima that had collided with a marked cruiser. According to Montgomery County Police, the Maxima fled the scene during a traffic stop.
The pursuit ended when the suspect crashed into a Toyota Corolla and a Honda Pilot at the intersection of Georgia and Henderson Avenues.
One occupant of the Maxima was pronounced dead at the scene. The other occupant, a 19-year-old male, was arrested.
Investigation of the collisions fall under the jurisdiction of the Maryland Attorney General’s Independent Investigations Division.
