It’s official. The day many panda-lovers dreaded has come.
Wednesday morning, a convoy of FedEx trucks is transporting the National Zoo’s popular giant pandas to Dulled International Airport for their journey back to China.
The three giant pandas — Mei Xiang, Tien Tien, and their three-year old cub Xiao Qi Ji — are leaving per an agreement with China. The departure was moved up several days.
