Advocates and Poolesville residents joined a rally to mark the two-year anniversary of the White’s Ferry shutdown, which severed a major transportation link between Montgomery and Loudoun counties.
The Fair Access Committee for Western Montgomery County held the rally Thursday to push for reopening.
In Dec. 2020, historic White’s Ferry stopped service after more than 230 years of operation over a legal dispute.
