A glitzy match-up between two private school powers was scoreless through three quarters then Good Counsel exploded for three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to beat rival Gonzaga 21-0 in MCM’s High School Game of the Week in Olney.
Each team had a blocked field goal to keep the game scoreless through three quarters.
In the fourth, Falcons running back scored on a 39-yard run and Damarian Fowlkes returned a punt 60 yards for the score. The Falcons improvde to 5-4. The Eagles fall to 6-3.
