Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich were among speakers Wednesday at BisNow’s International Life Sciences and Biotech Conference in North Bethesda.
The county executive was joined by the governor and business leaders from around the region, country and the world to talk about life sciences and biotech and why Montgomery County “is a great place to have a business and to grow in this field,” County Chief Administrative Officer Rich Madaleno said during a media briefing Thursday.
Elrich made opening remarks on the first day of the two-day conference at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, according to the event webpage. Also Wednesday, Moore joined a fireside chat about government policy regarding life sciences growth.
