Gymnast Kayla DiCello is one step closer to participating in the Summer Olympics in Paris.
DiCello finished third at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships held in Dickie’s Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
DiCello, from Boyds, is one of 16 named to the 2024-25 U.S. Senior Team who advance to the Olympic Trials later this month to determine the five gymnasts who will represent the U.S. in Paris.
DiCello (110.80) took third in the all-around. Simone Biles claimed her ninth U.S. Championships all-around title with her winning two-day total of 119.75.
