Health Leaders Say Vaccinations for Kids 5-11 Could Happen by November

Montgomery County Dept. of Health and Human Services (DHHS) officials are preparing for COVID-19 vaccine pediatric expansion eligibility for children under 12, and they have strategies in place.

Federal health officials say shots could be authorized for kids ages 5-11 by November, as they review safety data from Pfizer. In Montgomery County, this age group accounts for about 105,000 residents, according to local leaders.
