The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Heat Advisory from 12:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to hit the mid to high 90s. Heat index values will approach 107 degrees.
Residents are encouraged to stay inside. If you need to be outside, drink plenty of fluids and take breaks. Be sure to know the warning signs of heat-related illnesses.
