The National Weather Service (NWS) is concerned with a storm system that will move through the area Tuesday. The storm is predicted to bring heavy rain and strong winds to Montgomery County and surrounding areas. Rain will begin to fall after 8 a.m. and by afternoon, winds could gust as high as 37 mph.

Montgomery County will be under a NWS flood watch from 1 p.m. Tuesday until 7 a.m. Wednesday. The area may experience as much as four inches of rain before the storm passes.
