In honor of Women’s History Month, Hello Betty’s surf and skate restaurant in Bethesda, wants to award “fierce, self-sufficient women in the community who are making waves in their fields and breaking barriers.”
The restaurant on Rose Avenue is staging a Total Betty campaign. They describe Total Betty’s as women who are “skilled at their craft, passionate about their causes, unconcerned with outside opinions, and unapologetically themselves.
In other words, according to the restaurant, Hello Betty’s are “badass women.”

Winners will be announced March 20. The first-place winner gets an overnight stay at Canopy Bethesda and dinner for two at Hello Betty, along with two VIP passes to its boat lunch party. Second and third-place winners will receive VIP access for themselves and a guest to the boat lunch party.
Besides its location in Pike and Rose through the lobby of The Canopy Hotel, Hello Betty also has a restaurant in California.
