Maryland Governor Larry Hogan announced on Tuesday he would send critical aid supplies to people in Ukraine, according to a tweet.

The Governor spoke with Odesa’s mayor to coordinate this aid package. As of Wednesday, a multi-million dollar aid package is being shipped.
The packages will include health and medical supplies from the Maryland Department of Health and body armor pieces from the Maryland State Police, Hogan said.
“I ask that Marylanders continue to pray for the people of Ukraine as they fight for their lives and for freedom,” the Governor tweeted.
