The county police department’s Alcohol Holiday Task Force arrested 43 people for driving under the influence (DUI) over Thanksgiving weekend between Wednesday and Saturday.
29 people were arrested between Wednesday and Saturday the previous week, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.
The 43 arrests only include those by Montgomery County Police Alcohol Holiday Task Force officers and do not factor in any additional arrests by patrol officers. The overall number of DUI arrests between Nov. 27-30 is higher, according to police.
