The wait is over for panda lovers. The general public can see the beloved bears once again at the National Zoo in Washington D.C. beginning Friday.
Bao Li and Qing Bao have been at the Zoo since Oct. 15 when they arrived from China and have spent the last three plus months acclimating to their new environment.
The three previous giant pandas at the Zoo — Mei Xiang, Tien Tien, and their three-year old cub Xiao Qi Ji – departed Nov. 8, 2023.
