A Hyattsville man was arrested and charged with possession of Oxycontin pills laced with suspected Fentanyl, according to Takoma Park Police.
Ever Umanzor-Martinez, 22, also was charged with shoplifting and giving a false statement to police.
On April 22 at 3:50 p.m., officers responded to Walgreens in the 1300 block of University Boulevard in Takoma Park for a report of a shoplifting. When officers searched the suspect, they found the controlled dangerous substance, according to a news release.
Umanzor-Martinez posted a $1,000 bond.
