The new mass vaccination site at the Montgomery College Germantown campus is nearly in full swing. Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich says things are running smoothly, and the county is prepared to ramp up operations when they get more vaccine doses from the state.
“Our problem was never sites and logistics; it was always doses,” said Elrich while attending the site when it opened on Wednesday.
MyMCM spoke to Elrich to learn how he feels about the sites operations so far.
The county encouraged residents to continuously follow safety guidelines by taking precautions in public places like wearing a mask, staying six feet apart from others, as well as avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces.
