Spoiler alert: this story contains results from Tuesday’s Celebrity Jeopardy!
Blair High School and Catholic University alum Lisa Ann Walter, star of the award-winning ABC sitcom, Abbott Elementary, won the finals of Celebrity Jeopardy! which aired Tuesday night. She beat out CBS Sunday Mornings’ correspondent Mo Rocca, a native of Bethesda and graduate of Georgetown Prep, and sports commentator Katie Nolan.
Walter, who was in third place heading into Final Jeopardy and was the only contestant to guess the final question correctly, won $1 million for her charity, the Entertainment Community Fund, which helps people in the entertainment industry who are struggling financially.
Walter then appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live show later Tuesday night.
Season 3 of Abbott Elementary debuts Feb. 7 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
