Montgomery County residents who wanted to see live fireworks but didn’t want to trek downtown, had several options over the holiday weekend. Gaithersburg, Germantown, Kensington, Rockville, and Wheaton all had their own fireworks shows.
In addition, a handful of the County’s country clubs, like Congressional in Bethesda, hosted their own fireworks shows. Cars lined up on surrounding streets to watch the 15 minute display.
For those who didn’t venture down to The Mall, Congressional Country Club in Bethesda offered a great option with a stellar fireworks display of their own that could be seen from neighboring streets. @mymcmedia #July4th pic.twitter.com/ylfTPerzdD
