Swimmer Katie Ledecky made a splash today announcing that, after five years at Stanford University, she will be moving her training to the University of Florida in Gainesville. Ledecky will also be a volunteer swim coach for the Gators. Ledecky just graduated this year from Stanford in Palo Alto, Ca.
Ledecky explained on social media Wednesday morning that she will be moving east to be closer to her family. The seven-time Olympic gold medalist grew up in Bethesda where her family still resides.
