Katie Ledecky made the inaugural meet of the International Swimming League in Indianapolis memorable. The Bethesda native beat world champion Ariane Titmus in the 400-meter freestyle by 3.55 seconds and set an American record in the process.
Ledecky’s time of 3:54:06 was just .14 off the world record.
