The 18th annual Kensington Day of the Book Festival, a family-friendly book festival with a variety of games and activities, will be held on Sunday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival will span three blocks of Howard Avenue in Kensington.
The festival will feature authors, poets, literary and community organizations, according to the event website. There will also be live music, guest speakers, poetry readings and cookbook demos.
General admission is free, and no registration is required.
The festival will be held rain or shine. No pets are permitted.
