With Maryland’s Gubernatorial Election approaching, here’s a look at the key dates you need to know.
OCTOBER 27 – NOVEMBER 3:
Early voting
Eligible voters can vote early at any early voting center in the county from Oct. 27 to Nov. 3. The centers are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. There are 14 early voting centers in Montgomery County. Voters can find a list of centers at this link.
NOVEMBER 1:
Deadline to request a mail-in ballot, if you want one mailed to you. The request for a mail-in ballot must be received by Nov. 1.
NOVEMBER 4:
Deadline to request a ballot by email or from the State Board of Elections or local elections board. Residents can request a ballot on this website.
NOVEMBER 8:
Absentee ballot deadline
Deadline to submit your vote-by-mail ballot by regular mail. All mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 8.
Election Day
You can vote in person at your assigned polling place, which will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To find your assigned polling location, you can use this county tool.
