League Women Voters Screens ‘Why Is Mona Lisa Smiling?’ Documentary

The League of Women Voters of Montgomery County will screen a new documentary called “Why is Mona Lisa Smiling? The Re-imagination of the Corporation” on Sunday, April 27 from 2 to 5 p.m. at The Writer’s Center in Bethesda.

The documentary, which will open with a wine and cheese reception and close with a moderated panel discussion to further talk about the film, draws parallels between Renaissance trailblazers and modern innovators to offer a more hopeful version of capitalism, according to the event website.

Documentary tickets are $45 and can be purchased on the website’s ticket hub. Free parking will be available across the street from The Writer’s Center.
