A system-wide network outage damaged server cables at the Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) Tuesday.
The branches are open for checkouts but Wifi, public computers, printing, scanning and copiers are unavailable.
The outage is due to an underground fire in Baltimore this past weekend.
Repairs are expected to take several days.
