Live music and events return to Silver Spring’s Veterans Plaza this summer. The lineup of free, public outdoor events at Veterans Plaza includes community events, concerts, farm markets, and Sunday festivals throughout the summer.
Silver Spring is one of the most diverse communities in the state. There is always something to do and enjoy. The plaza is a short walk from the Metro and the area has numerous shops and restaurants.
Silver Spring’s Veterans Plaza schedule of entertainment during June include:
- Let’s Dance! Zuri Sana’a DanXercise Afrobeat Dance Class – Mondays, 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Pride in the Plaza – Sunday, June 27th 1 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Concerts on the Plaza:
- The Experience Band and Show – Wednesdays, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- The Potecasi Slade Experience – Friday, June 25 at 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- Fresh farm Market – Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
