The asking price for the estate formerly belonging to ex-Washington Commanders’ owner Daniel Snyder has dropped by $14 million. The property was put on the market in February for $49,900,000 which would have been an all-time record selling price for a residence in the DC area. On Friday, the price dropped by $14 million to $34,900,000.
The 15 acre, 30,000 sq. ft. property located at 11900 River Road in Potomac features a French chateau-style mansion, four floors, eight bedrooms, a. 12-car garage, wine cellar, spa, home theater and guest house.
Snyder sold the team to a group led by Josh Harris for over $6 billion. The sale became official on July 20 when NFL owners approved the record deal.
