Northwest High School junior Amber Briscoe has always had a love for STEM and arts. She decided to start the Arts and STEM 4 Hearts Foundation. Today, the non-profit organization is helping people in need during the COVID-19 health crisis.
So far, about 50 volunteers ranging from elementary school aged to post graduates have helped by providing donated food to local food banks, art projects for local nursing home residents, and needed items for health care workers on the front line. They also help provide virtual tutoring to kids in need, and the list goes on.
MyMCMedia spoke with Briscoe about how the Arts and STEM 4 Hearts Foundation is making a positive impact in the community.
