A Rockville woman will be part of ABC’s spinoff dating game show series, The Golden Bachelor, which premiers Thursday.
Joan Vassos, 60, is a widow, grandmother and administrator at a private school in Montgomery County.
She will be one of 22 contestants vying for the attention of Gerry Turner, 72, a widower and retired restauranteur from Indiana.
The show debuts Thursday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
