Summer school students at Takoma Park Middle School are no longer are in lockdown following a call Wednesday morning about a possible threat, according to Takoma Park police.
Police noted that the issue is resolved and the lockdown lifted. There was no active threat, according to police.
Just before 11 a.m., Montgomery County Police tweeted that Takoma Park MS was in a shelter in place order. All exterior doors were locked, while police investigated the threat.
Takoma Park Police determined the threat to not be credible. “The issue at the school has been resolved,” police said.
