Montgomery County Police identified the Silver Spring man from Tuesday’s homicide. He was James Richard Beverly, 39. When police found him, he appeared to suffered trauma to his body, they said.

Montgomery County Police are investigating the death of an adult male in Silver Spring.
Police believe it is a homicide and an isolated incident. No suspect is yet in custody.
According to police, officers responded to an address in the 12000 block of Treetop Drive in Silver Spring shortly before 9 a.m. An adult male was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police continue to investigate. This story will be updated when more information is made available.
