Montgomery County Police have arrested and charged Steven Randolph, 31, with indecent exposure after an incident at Ledo Pizza in Olney on Oct. 31, according to a police news release.
Around 10:14 a.m., Randolph reportedly entered the restaurant in the 3400 block of Olney Laytonsville Road as employees were preparing to open. When staff informed Randolph the restaurant wasn’t open, an employee saw Randolph exposing himself. The employee screamed and Randolph fled.
Investigators identified Randolph as the suspect. A responding officer recalled seeing a man matching his description at a nearby business earlier that day, police said. Video surveillance confirmed Randolph’s identity.
On Nov. 6, officers responded to a report of indecent exposure at a Safeway in the 3300 block of Spartan Road. They found Randolph at a nearby bus stop, where they arrested him without incident, police reported. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of an injury sustained before the arrest.
