Police arrest and charge a man with rogue and vagabond in Silver Spring on the 8100 block of George Ave. on Sept. 30.
A detective on scene for a separate investigation witnessed Eric Delonty Feggins, 33, entering an unlocked vehicle, going through the items, and leaving. The detective notified patrol officers who arrived and arrested Feggins after a short chase on foot.
Feggins was taken to the 3rd district station where he admitted to his actions. Police later determined Feggins to be a possible suspect in other theft investigations.
He has since been released on a $2,000 unsecured personal bond.
Police urge the community to not leave valuables in their vehicles and to not leave cars unlocked and unattended.
