Police said a man was taken to a hospital with a suspected gunshot wound on Tuesday after officers responded to a traffic collision in Germantown.
According to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD), officers responded to the Apperson Way and Apperson Place area for a reported collision. Police said the striking vehicle had caught on fire and caught other parked vehicles on fire.
Arriving officers found a man with a suspected gunshot wound and he was taken to a hospital with critical injuries. Police said there are no suspects in custody at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
