Maryland-National Capital Park Police responded to a shooting at Glenmont Local Park Wednesday at 3 p.m.
An adult male was found suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at the park on Dalewood Drive in Wheaton, according to a press release from Maryland-National Capital Park Police. Police report that the shooting is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the community.
The wounded man was taken to the hospital.
